Minimally invasive surgery
Surgical treatments for women’s health conditions, designed for optimal results and quick recovery.
Conventional laparoscopy
Also known as 'keyhole surgery,' conventional laparoscopy allows us to look inside your abdomen and pelvis using a small camera and specialized instruments. Instead of a large cut, we only make a few tiny incisions. This minimally invasive approach means you will experience less post-operative pain, minimal scarring, and can usually return to your daily activities much faster than with traditional open surgery. It is a highly effective method for diagnosing and treating conditions like endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and fibroids.
Robotic surgery
Robotic-assisted surgery takes minimally invasive care to the next level. While the surgeon remains entirely in control at all times, this advanced technology provides a high-definition 3D view and enhanced flexibility through robotic arms. This allows for unparalleled precision during delicate or complex procedures, such as deep endometriosis removal. For you, it combines the best of both worlds: the benefits of smaller scars and quicker recovery, alongside the utmost surgical accuracy.
Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is a gentle procedure that requires absolutely no external incisions. We carefully insert a thin, lighted tube (hysteroscope) through the natural opening of the vagina and cervix to directly examine the inside of your uterus. This method is ideal for finding the cause of abnormal bleeding and allows us to simultaneously treat issues like uterine polyps or small fibroids. Because there are no cuts, recovery is incredibly fast, often allowing you to go home the very same day with minimal discomfort.
Laparotomy
Also known as open surgery, a laparotomy involves a single, larger incision in the lower abdomen. While we always prioritize minimally invasive methods whenever possible, this approach is sometimes the safest and most effective option for safely removing particularly large fibroids or managing complex pelvic conditions. If a laparotomy is necessary for your health, our team will guide you through every step, ensuring your pain is carefully managed and supporting you closely throughout your recovery.
